Statement on “neutral” Switzerland during the Second World War.
As it turned out in 1997 in the so-called “Eizenstat Report”, however, the Swiss National Bank took over huge amounts of looted gold from the Nazis from the occupied countries and kept it hidden. These included sacrificial gold in the form of melted gold teeth and jewelry from the victims from the concentration camps.
